Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dreamI am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have beenTo sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seenThey talk of days for which they sit and wait, all will be revealedTalk and song from tongues of lilting grace, sounds caress my earBut not a word I heard could I relay, the story was quite clearOhh(Chorus)Oh, ohOh, ohOooh, baby I've been Flying... Mama, there ain't no denyin'Oooh yeah, I've been Flying, Mama ain't no denyin', no denyin'All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the groundAnd my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted landTrying to find, trying to find where I've been.Oh, pilot of the storm that leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dreamYou've the map that led me to that place, yellow desert streamMy Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return againSure as the dust that blows high in June, when moving through Kashmir.Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of yearsWith no provision but an open face, along the straits of fearohh(Chorus)When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeahWhen I see, when I see the way they stay, yeahOoh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I'm down...Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so downOoh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you thereLet me take you thereLet me take you there _______________________Led Zeppelin were an English rock band formed in 1968 by Jimmy Page (guitar), Robert Plant (vocals), John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards) and John Bonham (drums). With their heavy, guitar-driven sound, Led Zeppelin are regarded as one of the first heavy metal bands. However, the band's individualistic style draws from many sources and transcends any one genre. Their rock-infused interpretation of the blues and folk genres also incorporated rockabilly, reggae, soul, funk, classical, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, pop, Latin and country. The band did not release the popular songs from their albums as singles in the UK, as they preferred to develop the concept of album-oriented rock. Close to 30 years after disbanding following Bonham's death in 1980, the band continue to be held in high regard for their artistic achievements, commercial success and broad influence. The band have sold more than 300 million albums worldwide, including 111.5 million sales in the United States[15] and they have had all of their original studio albums reach the U.S. Billboard Top 10, with six reaching the number one spot. Led Zeppelin are ranked No. 1 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. Rolling Stone magazine has described Led Zeppelin as "the heaviest band of all time" and "the biggest band of the 70s".On 10 December 2007 the surviving members of Led Zeppelin reunited (along with deceased drummer John Bonham's son Jason) for the Ahmet Ertegün Tribute Concert at The O2 Arena in London.Physical Graffiti is the sixth album by the English rock band Led Zeppelin. It is a double album which was released on February 24, 1975. Recording sessions for the album were initially disrupted when John Paul Jones considered leaving the band. After reuniting at Headley Grange, the band wrote and recorded eight songs, the combined length of which stretched the album beyond the typical length of an LP. This prompted the band to make Physical Graffiti a double album by including previously unreleased tracks from earlier recording sessions.Physical Graffiti was commercially and critically successful; the album has sold 16 million copies in the United States alone and has come to be regarded as one of Led Zeppelin's defining works. In 2003, the album was ranked number 70 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time."Kashmir" is a song by the English rock band Led Zeppelin from their sixth album Physical Graffiti (1975). It was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (with contributions from John Bonham) over a period of three years, with the lyrics dating back to 1973."Kashmir" is considered to be one of Led Zeppelin's most successful songs; all four band members have agreed that it is to date one of their best musical achievements. John Paul Jones suggested that it showcases all of the elements that made up the Led Zeppelin sound. During a television interview in January 2008, Plant named "Kashmir" as his first choice of all Led Zeppelin songs that he would perform, commenting "I'm most proud of that one". Page has indicated he thinks that the song is one of the band's best compositions.

Nov 11, 2008 - This is such an amazing song and brilliant performance as well. Still some freaking user rated the video with only one star. Some folks have really missed their way here on YouTube.

Nov 13, 2008 - Some of my younger subscribers don't care for the old gods of rock and downgrade my videos as a result, but that's their problem as they're missing out and not us ;-]

Nov 16, 2008 - Maybe someone gave this a 1 star rating because it's just the studio version of the song edited in to a live performance.I must admit, whoever edited the video did a fantastic job of fitting everything in with the studio version, but come on, you gotta keep the live performances in their entirety; they're good on their own.

TheDemonPazuzu Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - I have given too many videos the "remastered audio treatment" (merging audio from my CD collection to music videos so that it can be played in stereo here on YouTube) that I find that supposition extremely difficult to believe. For one thing, the timing is far too perfect. I always find the studio version differs greatly from live versions no matter who's performing. Yes, I know this is the mighty Led Zeppelin we're talking about, but down to the split second? Is anyone really THAT perfect?
